On 16th of June Skolkovo Technopark hosted the visit of the Minister of Science and Education of Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Mohammad Amer al-Mardini. This meeting was attended by Mrs. Rasha Hamada, Professor of Damascus University, Mr. Butrus Mayala, Deputy Minister of Science and Education, Mr. Vadim Lobov, Executive Director of Synergy University, Ms. Olesia Gorkovaya, Head of International Business Department of Synergy University, Mr. Renat Batyrov, CEO of Skolkovo Technopark.
During the meeting Mr. Batyrov made a detailed presentation of Skolkovo Innovation Center, including Skoltech and Technopark. In addition Mr. Mohammad Amer al-Mardini shown an interest in SoftLanding program, and parties have discussed the benefits and services provided within this program.
Most significantly the Minister specified the information related to the cooperation possibilities with Skoltech University, which is one of the important parts of Skolkovo ecosystem. As the delegation’s visit was aimed on expanding and improvement of bilateral cooperation and plan for future ventures in the field of educational, cultural, and technical cooperation between the two countries.
