Vice-President, Executive Director of the Nuclear&Radiation and Advanced manufacturing Cluster of Skolkovo Foundation, Igor Karavaev, made a 2-day visit to South Korea.

   

Within this visit Mr. Karavaev participated in Nano Korea exhibition, which is the Global Market Place aimed at creating new businesses and boosting cooperation in nanotechnology.

 

Also Mr. Karavaev had visited one of the largest and most important development institutions of South Korea – Gyeonggi Institute of Science and Technology Promotion (GSTEP). There he had a possibility to have the Pangyo Technovalley Tour, meet with representatives of big industrial companies, such as LG Electronics, Hyundai, POSCO ICT, Dongjin Semichem Co. and also have a meeting with Korean startup companies, which are the potential business partners for startups of Skolkovo’s Nuclear Cluster. During these meetings Mr. Karavaev made a presentation of Skolkovo Innovation Center and Nuclear Technologies Cluster.

  

  

It was the very fruitful visit, proving that Skolkovo’s interest in cooperation with South Korean innovative ecosystem is mutual. In October Skolkovo is planning to organize the extensive business mission to South Korea attracting the representatives and startups from all the Clusters (Nuclear, IT, Space, Biomedicine, Energy).
