The Skolkovo Foundation has sent a message of congratulations to Skolkovo Council co-chairman Craig Barrett on his 76th birthday.

Craig Barrett, the former president of IT giant Intel, has been involved in the Skolkovo project practically from the start, assisting with Russia’s biggest effort to catalyze the diversification of the economy. He turned 76 on August 29.

“Your immense experience, deep knowledge and valued advice have served and continue to serve the development of innovation in Russia and across the world,” said the letter, signed by Skolkovo president Victor Vekselberg.

“We have great affection and admiration for you as a person who is devoted to the cause of scientific and technological progress for the benefit of society as a whole. We wish you good health, continued success and new creativity,” the letter said.
