Skolkovo Technopark signed an agreement with China’s biggest tech park holding group TusHoldings on Tuesday to provide support for startups in both countries.

Skolkovo Technopark general director Renat Batyrov claimed the deal would provide a boost for Russia and China’s innovation markets.

“We hope that this agreement will first of all give our residents the opportunity to work more productively in both countries, and also attract Chinese high-tech companies to our technopark,” he said during the signing ceremony at the Technopolis in southeast Moscow.

The Skolkovo Technopark has a number of cooperation agreements with technoparks worldwide. It is a key part of the Skolkovo Innovation Center, a 400-hectare innovations ecosystem that is to be complete by 2020.

The latest was inked on the sidelines of the Open Innovations Forum in the Russian capital, which ends Wednesday.
