Yuri Tkachenko

Owner of LLC “Thermodiagnostics” and JSC “CEM-Technology”, PhD., M.D., lawyer in the patent law, Deputy Director for Patenting and Licensing at Innovation & Technology Center of Nizhny Novgorod Lobachevsky State University, Head of Medicine & Biology Laboratory of the Nizhny Novgorod Lobachevsky State University. He is a specialist in development and sales of hi-tech biomedical and biotechnological equipment in Russia, innovation management and protection of intellectual property with 20 year experience. In 1990s, while being the owner and director of LLC “Union of Western and Eastern Medicine” (which presently changed its name to LLC “Thermodiagnostics”), Yury Tkachenko has been managing R&D and sales of medical equipment, including 1000 medical thermographs sold in Russia and world-wide in the sum of $10 million (international sales share was less than 10%). Total amount of sales of LLC “Union of Western and Eastern Medicine” was $30 million. In 2005-2009 he was a co-founder of a company producing and selling medical device СЕМ®-ТЕСН. Total amount of sales of the company was $80 million (share of international sales did not exceed 2%). Yury Tkachenko exited the company through the sale of 50% of shares to the co-founder (www.stella.tomsk.ru).
