The Fifth Skolkovo Robotics International Conference 2017 will take place on April 21 at the Skolkovo innovation centre. Organised by Skolkovo Robocentre, the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), and Moscow Technological Institute, the conference will be held at the Skolkovo Technopark, and will comprise plenary sessions, an exhibition of robotics projects and master classes.
The conference speakers include Serge Grygorowicz, founder of the French company RB3D that makes industrial exoskeletons; Jong-Oh Park, director of the robot research initiative and professor of mechanical system engineering at the Chonnam National University in South Korea; Abderrahmane Kheddar, director of research at France’s National Centre for Scientific Research; Nikolaos Mavridis, a professor at Innopolis University in Kazan; and Gudrun Litzenberger, general secretary of the International Federation of Robotics.
About 40% of the robotics projects in the exhibition are being displayed for the first time.
