Launch of the Intel EMEA #MakeItPro contest online, 12 November 2014: http://makeitpro.intel.com

WHAT:    Intel is inviting makers and developers to submit their invention ideas for the Intel® Edison development board. Ten short-listed entries will receive an Intel® Edison board kit and go on to the next stage, the prototyping round, between December 22nd 2014 and January 23rd 2015. The finalists will be invited to upload a video and attend a live Q/A to describe their idea. The winner will be announced on January 23rd. The first prize includes $7,000, sponsored crowd funding, a professional product video and support from an industrial designer to bring the project to life. 

The contest is open to entries from: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Israel, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Contestants should register at:  http://makeitpro.intel.com.  Ideas will be submitted to the Intel Edison community.
