Skoltech is excited to invite you to Haсkathon 2.0 – our first Skoltech Education hackathon! This 24-hour hackathon will take place in 2013, beginning November 30th at 11:00 and ending December 1st at 19:00 at API Moscow, and will be open to all interested student participants from universities and employees of companies from Moscow.
Hackathon (meaning hack + marathon, also known as a hack day, hackfest or codefest) is an event in which students, computer programmers and others involved in software development, including graphic designers, interface designers and project managers, get together, collaborate intensively on software projects and transform their crazy ideas into something real. Hackathons typically last between a day and a week.
Skoltech Hackathon 2.0 is devoted to education. The goal is to create real cool prototypes from scratch, and you will have 24 hours for that. Show off what you’ve created to your peers, judges, and corporate sponsors, and get awesome prizes! The winners will be awarded in several nominations.
All are welcome! Programming skills are desired. You can come as a team or as an individual.
Skoltech Hackathon 2.0 will be dual language. All organizational announcements will be made in English. Final presentations can be either in English or in Russian.
From 11: 00 on Saturday November 30th and till 19:00 on Sunday December 1st.
