In the beginning of June Skolkovo Technopark hosted the first meeting of IASP Moscow Conference Steering Committee.
IASP Vice President Josep Piqué (22@Barcelona); IASP Director General Luis Sanz; President of the IASP WANA Division Mostafa Karimian Eghbal (Isfahan Science and Technology Town); Renat Batyrov (Technopark Skolkovo); Oleg Movsesyan (Moscow State University Science Park), Pekka Viljakainen (Skolkovo Foundation); and Vasily Belov (Skolkovo Foundation) as well as IASP Chief Operations Officer Ebba Lund, coordinator of the Steering Committee Secretariat, all these representatives of IASP Family took part in the Meeting.
During the meeting the Committee elaborated the theme "The Global Mind – linking innovation communities for internationalisation, sustainability and growth" and developed an outline for the Call for Contributions. Participants also discussed potential invited keynote speakers for the conference.
The Steering Committee went on a technical visit of the Skolkovo project, including the construction site of a new building for startups and the Skolkovo Hypercube.
The conference will be held by Skolkovo on 19th – 22nd September 2016 in collaboration with Technopark Strogino and Moscow State University Science Park. The IASP 2016 Conference will gather in Skolkovo more than 1500 participants from over 70 countries. We plan to invite to Moscow science and technology parks, business incubators, startups, development institutes and other representatives of innovation community from all over the world.
