Telum, the vendor of small cell LTE solutions, and Smirnov Design announced the successful development of the housing design for Ranberry Cell 100. Original housing will solve several challenging technical problems, such as: effective passive cooling, mounting on the wall or other surface, small size and ergonomics.
Picocell Ranberry Cell 100 is an innovative product that isn’t represented at the moment on local market by any Russian vendor. The new housing consists of two parts: the first part is molded from high quality plastic parts drawn by Smirnov design, the second part is made of aluminum and manufactured by precision CNC machines. It was a complicated task to get in tough deadlines top quality product that conforms to generally accepted international standards. According to Telum, significant volumes of Ranberry Cell 100 will be exported to neighboring countries, Eastern Europe and Latin America.
Serial production of small cell solution Ranberry Cell 100 is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2014.
