Russian company T8 has received a RUB 40 million grant from the Skolkovo fund to design  telecommunications equipment, reports Cnews.ru. The equipment is expected to enable the deployment of broadband networks in remote areas. T8 designs DWDM equipment. The company Inoventica installed a transponder from T8 on a 100G DWDM system in August. 

Part of the grant is planned to be used by T8 to accelerate works under the project to design a DWDM system at 25 Tbps. T8 has had premises at the Skolkovo IT-cluster in Moscow from 2012.
