Esther Dyson, an entrepreneur of global renown, will come to Moscow International Forum for Innovative Development “Open Innovations”, where she will be a moderator of the panel discussion “The World in 2030: Vision, Opportunities and Risks”.

Dyson started her career in business as a Forbes journalist, and later became a Wall Street analyst. Dyson’s first company was Rosen Research (renamed to EDventure Holdings), which Esther bought from her own employer.

For over 30 years Dyson has occupied herself with innovation policy, business and venture investments. She is one of the most famous world investors in the medical and space technology spheres. Her investment portfolio includes such companies as XCOR, Constellation Services, Zero-G, Icon Aircraft and Space Adventures, and a genetic startup 23andMe.

Esther Dyson has put a lot of effort into the development of the Russian innovation environment as well. In December 2009, she became a member of the work group for the development of the project aimed at creating the Skolkovo Innovation City.
