The educational online platform Uchi.ru is Russia's only project to be ranked among the world's Top 10 websites in the education category, VC.ru reports, citing Similarweb 


The Similarweb ranking has regard to indicators, such as the average amount of time a user spends on a website, attendance, and other metrics evidencing the quality и popularity of online resources.

The demand for Uchi.ru has grown considerably since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, when schoolchildren switched to distance learning. The platform from a resident of the Skolkovo Foundation's IT Cluster is used by more than 7m students: every other Russian schoolchild.


According to the statistics of Uchi.ru, the website is simultaneously visited by over 220k people and the number of unique users per day now exceeds 3m. Photo courtesy: Sk.ru.

   

From March 23 to April 5, more than 70k teachers conducted classes for 420k schoolchildren using the infrastructural service of the platform to deliver individual and group video lessons known as "Virtual Class".

Moreover, Uchi.ru offers free public online streams of lessons for grades 1 to 8, which have already gathered over 4.5m views.
