A dozen of startups and “R&D Center Siemens” will represent the Foundation at the St. Petersburg International Economics Forum, with its main programme starting tomorrow, on June 20.

Projects receiving the honour of being represented at the Skolkovo pavilion before a leading global audience include the recent winner of Startup Village, laureate of the 900,000 rubles award, “Bravo Motors”, which will show its already “legendary” compact electric car-transformer e-Trike.
With care for health
It was only yesterday that “AngioScan”, an IT cluster company and developer of mobile solutions for personal diagnostics, non-invasive diagnostic equipment celebrated making it to the finals of the IBM Cup. At the forum it will present its leader product “AngioScan-01”. The prestigious forum in the Northern capital will host several companies engaged in progressive designs in the sphere of health care. At Skolkovo’s exposition you will meet such Foundation residents as Biosten (progressive technologies for fighting heart ischemia); InsideEr Pharm that will show its medicine “CytoDel” which allows conducting chemotherapy with reduced toxicity and increased therapeutic effectiveness; MedIAToma will introduce the guests and forum participants to their designs in the sphere of surgical high-tech tools for vessel kyphoplasty.
Oil and gas specialists will also have something to see
Traditionally, top managers from practically all world oil companies working in Russia actively participate in the sessions of the St. Petersburg forum. Members of the energy efficient technologies cluster Novas-SK will show its technology for the increase of oil and gas output via environment friendly methods. Another Foundation resident, PPT for whom St. Petersburg is its hometown, will again surprise the audience with its design “PRIS” – technologies for receiving unleaded components of Euro-5 petroleum, while 4D Energetics will share its super efficient energy storage systems.
IT leaders
Of course, the well represented Skolkovo information technologies cluster will have powerful presentations as usual. Besides the already mentioned AngioScan, the following companies will participate on behalf of the cluster: Speereo (leading systems of oral speech recognition); T8 that is working on a project realizing a DWDM-system for 25Tbit/sec; CRT Innovations with leading multimodal biometrical solutions for safety and access control.
Projects in nuclear technologies
“Do-Ra” with a project of a portable radiometer-dosimeter for a smartphone, as well as R&D Center Siemens with projects of high-frequency module amplifier for cyclotrons, power combiner and TTMG generator control systems will participate in the nuclear technologies section.
