Airbus Group is a global leader in aeronautics, space and related services. The company was originally formed as the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS) on 10 July 2000. In January 2014, EADS was reorganised as Airbus Group combining the divisions for development and marketing of civil and military aircraft, as well as communications systems, missiles, space rockets, helicopters, satellites, and related system. The group consists of the three business divisions AirbusAirbus Defence and Space, and Airbus Helicopters.

Agreement with the Skolkovo Foundation was signed on June 21st, 2011.

Three subsidiaries of Airbus Group are presented as startups at Skolkovo:

  • LLC "Airbus Group Innovations Sk" develops unique combustor for aircraft engines;
  • LLC "Datadvans" is developing and commercializing software platform and tools for predictive modeling and multidisciplinary optimization;
  • OOO "Solutherm " is specializing in non-destructive testing of aviation and space materials by active quantitative infrared thermography.

It is planned to create an R&D Centre in Skolkovo where all Airbus Group startups are to carry out their research activities.

The company participates in the Skolkovo Industrial Advisory Board.
