Venture capital financing:

  • Venture capital financing is provided via the Almaz Capital Partners fund
  • Direct investment by Cisco in Russia in companies such as Cinarra, Ozon and Parallels (all decisions are made by Cisco HQ)

 

Internship programs:

  • International internship programs at Cisco’s US offices for students and post-graduate students from the M. Bauman Moscow State Technical University

 

Program supporting university research:

  • Grants to support R&D at Russian universities and research facilities, offered through grant application contests

The I-PRIZE contest for startup projects in Russia:

  • The global IoT Innovation Grand Challenge contest supported by Cisco I-PRIZE 2014; applications may be submitted until July 1, 2014 (total of USD 250,000 awarded in grants)
  • The Skolkovo Innovations Prize supported by Cisco I-PRIZE, held in 2012-2013, for projects in healthcare, education and energy efficiency (total of RUB 5.25 million awarded in grants)
  • The Skolkovo Innovations Prize supported by Cisco I-PRIZE, held in 2010-2011, (total of RUB 5.25 million awarded in grants)

 

Privileged access to the Cisco developers’ community (after the program officially launches in Russia in 2014):

  • Free support from Cisco engineers for developers working on integrated solutions as part of the DevNet program. The projects for which free support is made available are selected by means of contests
  • Free subscription to the Solution Partner Program, with the status of a Solution Partner, for contest winners
