SKOLKOVO ROBOTICS FORUM is the successor of the annual SKOLKOVO ROBOTICS International Conference held at the Skolkovo Foundation since 2013. SKOLKOVO ROBOTICS is the first Russian conference that has formed a platform for an effective dialogue between representatives of the real sector of the economy, industry professionals, venture investors, and startups. The conference results in a number of signed contracts amounting to tens of millions of roubles, attracted investments and new businesses (about 5 Russian robotic early-stage projects at the exhibition in 2013; 60 fully Russian projects in 2017, and less than a third of them are at an early stage).

The Forum gives its participants an opportunity to be engaged in plenary sessions, panel discussions, thematic sessions, an exhibition, as well as educational and practical workshops, innovation shows, and business meetings

Earlier, speakers of the SKOLKOVO ROBOTICS conference were not only Russian experts, but also representatives of different companies, such as the International Federation of Robotics (IFR), Facebook AI Research, Amazon, Moley Robotics, Ekso Bionics, FANUC, SCHUNK, KUKA Robotics, and the following universities: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, Imperial College London, Italian Institute of Technology, Carnegie Mellon University, Duke University, Toyohashi University of Technology, National Research University of Singapore, French Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (Institut national de recherche en informatique et en automatique - INRIA), and Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits.

The event is aimed  at creating a meeting place for market and startup leaders to exchange experiences, showcasing the companies’ achievements to leading Russian companies and international corporations and holdings, technology broadcasting, and sharing best practices.

The conference has a non-profit status. The event is financed at the expense of the Skolkovo Foundation and conference sponsors.
