International Conference on Skolkovo Tech Research Centers at the MIT

In support of the SkTech mission of advance education, scholarship and economic development in the Russian Federation and beyond by educating leading graduate students and conducting research programs that address key challenges in science, technology and innovation, SkTech has announced a Call for Proposals for SkTech Research Centers ( Thisprogram will fund collaborative, inter-disciplinary and international research teams using innovative approaches in science and technology with high potential impact. Particular emphasis will be placed in the fields of Biomedical Science and Technology, Energy Science and Technology, Information Science and Technology, Nuclear Science and Technology, and Space Science and Technology.

The SkTech Research Center Proposer’s Conference  will be jointly hosted by SkTech and MIT (through the SkTech/MIT Initiative) on February 9-10, 2012 in Cambridge, MA, USA, to provide a forum to learn about and plan for research center proposals in response to this exceptional new funding opportunity. The agenda will include informational and panel sessions, and team- or proposal-building sessions. Workshop space is limited, and requests to participate can be made at MIT Conference Services.
